When Josie arrived at the refuge, she was too frightened to leave the corner of her kennel.
Adam, our dog trainer, has been working with her for several months, in his own home. His patience has really paid off, because this special little girl has now been adopted.
Sometimes, it takes a long time to gain a dog’s confidence, especially when he or she has a disadvantaged start to life. Adam persevered, and his calm and confident approach has resulted in Josie finding her forever home.
We are sure Adam will miss her, but he is delighted to know she has a wonderful life ahead of her.
