Dog of the week . Bear

When Bear first turned up at one of our volunteers house, he was in a dreadful state, unfortunately man made. The cruelty he had received didn’t stop him showing his true warm and loving nature. He stayed with the volunteer for a few weeks , as he needed care and attention, plus getting rid of his fleas and ticks. The cats he came into contact with were non plussed with him, and visa versa, he didn’t bother them. Bears attitude to life, is very laid back, he shares his kennel with Siarra, and is fine with her. Each dog in the refuge has a character, and for Bear its his ability to look like he is smiling, which he probably is. He is not one of the prettiest dogs in the refuge, but his lovely character more than makes up for it. After all he had endured, our volunteer wanted to keep him, but unfortunately had 3 dogs already, the time is right for him to have his very own home, don’t pass him by if you are interested in him, spend some time with him and you will understand exactly who he is.
