This sweetheart of a Shar Pei we have called Fleur. She was found by one of our volunteers tied up outside the refuge yesterday with strangely, a plastic bag tied to one foot. When it was removed we found to our horror this growth/wound. She was taken immediately to our vets who have admitted her for pain relief, tests, and on going care. We hope to have some news very soon as to the nature of the problem but we are highly suspicious that its cancerous.
