Lira came to us , with Canela , as her previous owners were no longer able to keep her.
She was sociable from the beginning , and is very confident, great with people and other dogs. Although she is older , you would not think it as she acts like a puppy , playful and youthful . She is always ready to welcome us in the morning wagging her tail furiously , waiting her turn for the attention she receives.
Despite our efforts to maintain her weight, and we know her previous owners did the same, Lira does look thin, its just who she is . She is a delight to have in the refuge, but her own home would be better .
