History: Found wandering in Guimar with her sister Maya.
About: Maika came into the refuge a very nervous dog, we realised quickly that the sisters were not helping each other with their nervousness. It was the right decision to split them up , and now they have new friends, and loads of confidence.
Maika shares her kennel with another two youngsters, Toby and Fonzi. They are quite comical when they are playing.
She gets on well with other dogs and loves people, being taller than the other two she has learned to push her head through the gate to get the first treat.
Its lovely to see her so confident now, the nest step is her forever home.
