Such a kind thought
Ilya and Justyna are on holiday here from Poland, and have been to walk the dogs, twice. Not only did they make several of our dogs very happy, by giving them the chance to stretch their legs, they also brought them welcome gifts, on both days. Ilya, Justyna and their friends clubbed together, and donated several sacks of dog biscuits, and tins of food. Thank you all so much. Your kindness is very much appreciated.
A welcome gift
Thank you so much!
Pupils at the Colegio Internacional, in Costa Adeje, kindly gave us dog biscuits and treats, recently. We are really grateful to them for their kindness. Every single donation means so much to the dogs. Thanks again!
Charlie starts his new life!
Charm and her four pups were discovered living in a cave, and were brought to the refuge. Little Charlie was the last to be adopted, but that doesn’t matter, because he now has a really special home. He was a little nervous when he was with us, but he is gaining confidence, gradually, thanks to all the love and attention he is receiving! All the best, little boy. Have a wonderful life!
Rock’s so happy now!
A big thank-you to everyone!
When pupils from Year 7 at Wingate School were invited to walk the dogs, little did they know that this was something they could do throughout the year. They are more than welcome to come to the refuge, accompanied by an adult, any Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday of each week (9am-1pm). The dogs thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the youngsters, and it was moving to see them interacting with each other. The animals love being able to stretch their legs and have a good sniff, and we know they would really appreciate being able to go walking with everyone again. The children really loved being with their new, four-legged friends, and were beautifully behaved and very attentive. The donations of dog biscuits and treats were most welcome, and we would like to thank everyone involved for making it such a special morning.
Good luck, Ollie!
This gorgeous Pointer was found wandering in the mountains by concerned holidaymakers, nearly five months ago, and he was brought to the refuge. From day one, he was always outgoing and friendly, and we are delighted that he now has a lovely new home. All the best, Ollie. Your kennel certainly seems emptier without you!
What a fun morning!
Another lucky pup!
This beautiful girl has been adopted, and will soon be moving with her new family to a finca, up in the hills. What a great life she will have! She has a lovely personality, and we know she will bring a lot of happiness and joy. All the best, little one!
