- About:Bob is a very special boy , with different needs to most dogs. He arrived at the refuge with a condition called ataxia, this means that he has difficulty with his limb control. The general opinion from the vets state the condition is probably caused by parvovirus as a puppy. There was no conventional medicine to help him, so we turned to complimentary medicine, bob receives this most weeks. It consists of acupuncture and herbal medication, and dietary supplements. Bob has improved so much , we are delighted with the results. He can manage stairs , but preferably not to many. He can go out for walks , sometimes a little wobbly, especially when tired. Don’t be fooled though, he can be a monkey, if he feels he doesn’t ant want to go for a walk , he lies on his back with his legs in the air, something very comical to see. A little gentle persuasion and he changes his mind. Bob would benefit from a quieter household , although no problem with people, he is liable to walk into small children. Bob is a gentle, sweet soul, who just needs a chance in life. If you would consider fostering or adoption , please speak to Mark (Dutch, English, Spanish and German) on (+34) 652 29 78 53.
