- About:Daisy was heading to a kill shelter until our President Mark stepped in. She is supposed to be aggressive, but it turns out she was very scared , absolutely not aggressive. Daisy is a 7 month old mixed breed puppy who has been kept in a cage with no interaction, hence why she was scared. Daisy is a confident young lady, loves to interact with people now she understands that humans are not scary. Full of fun, good on the lead once she is over the initial excitement of the walk . Loves to be cuddled . Good with other dogs and children. It is with great sadness that we tell you that Daisy our beautiful young Daisy died this morning after contracting parvovirus. Parvovirus is a highly contagious virus which mainly effects dogs. Symptoms include: 👉Lethargy 👉Vomiting 👉Fever 👉Diarrhoea There is no approved treatment for parvo and if contracted in young dogs there is a very small survival rate. Unfortunately this is a result of Daisy not receiving her vaccinations at the appropriate age. This is not a nice way for a dog to die, we urge you please get your dogs vaccinated. If you have a dog at any age and are unsure what is needed to keep them healthy then please speak to a vet or contact us at Live PAWS. Run free Daisy, 8 months is no age 🌈💔🐾 Sister to the recently adopted Frankie.
