Nikka who joined us 4 months ago at the older age of 8 years, went into long term foster care yesterday.
She was never a refuge dog, nervous of everyone to start with she soon started to trust the team and thankfully we have secured her a forever home within a quiet household, and loving family.
Long term foster means our older dogs go into homes, if there are any future big vet bills they are covered by us at Live Paws.
It’s always heart warming to see older dogs find their forever family, their last days on warm beds, or in Nikka’s case a lovely cosy chair.
Nikka looks so content and that’s what we want for all our dogs .
