Little Negrita started a new chapter of her life, recently, when she went to live with foster carers, Jo and Cornelius.
They welcomed her into their home, where she was a loyal companion to their little dog Charlie, even though they knew she had ongoing health problems.
At the beginning of October, a cancerous tumour was removed. At the end of the month, Negrita partially collapsed. She had to have her spleen removed, complete with a malignant tumour, which weighed over a kilogram.
Prompt action, by one of our accomplished vets, saved this little girl’s life, which, for a while, hung in the balance.
Miraculously, Negrita is recovering well, and we are so grateful to Jo and Cornelius for giving her their undivided attention, and lots of loving care.
