Beethoven joined us late in 2020 at eight years old. When he tested positive for heartworm, our gentle giant went into foster care… but he never came back.
He was the softest soul — calm, kind, and wonderful with the other dogs. With Frankie and Auturo, it was simply the perfect match.
When circumstances changed, Beethoven and Auturo were too old to travel back to the UK. Mark didn’t hesitate to open his finca and his heart to two more dogs, and they fitted into his pack perfectly.
They already knew Mark — and the right decision was made for them. Auturo left us last year.
And this morning, with his Mumma by his side and his beloved Mark close, Beethoven said goodbye to this world — no doubt greeted over the rainbow bridge by Auturo. When you love so much, it hurts so much.
These dogs knew love — truly knew love — in their final chapter. Run free of pain now, our dear Beethoven.
