We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who regularly comes to the refuge to walk our dogs. Dog walking is a simple way to help, but the difference it makes to the dogs is enormous. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, our dogs are able to leave their kennels and enjoy walks four times a week, giving them fresh air, exercise, attention and some much-needed time outside.
The support goes beyond the walks themselves. The photographs you take and the posts you share help our dogs reach a much wider audience. We have seen many of our dogs find loving homes after being noticed through a photograph or social media post.
By taking a dog for a walk, you are not only giving them a much-needed break from their kennel — you may also be helping them find their forever home. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support we have received this summer.
Our dog walkers play an important part in the lives of the dogs in our care, and we truly appreciate every visit. Thank you for helping to give our dogs the care, attention and opportunities they deserve.
