Maxi is 14 years old and the oldest resident at our refuge. He really deserves the chance to spend his later years in a home rather than in kennels.
He is a big, friendly, gentle boy who is very easy-going. Maxi gets on well with other dogs and walks nicely on a lead.
At his age, he isn’t looking for much — just a comfortable home, a quiet place to sleep, some nice walks and someone who will give him the attention and care he deserves. We know fostering an older dog can feel like a big commitment, but it can also be incredibly rewarding.
Giving a dog like Maxi the chance to experience life in a home, even for his later years, can make such a difference to their happiness and wellbeing. We would love to see Maxi leave the refuge and enjoy some home comforts.
