Everyone who shares our posts has an incredible way of connecting the dots. Thanks to your shares, somebody reached out for our beautiful 12-year-old Labrador, whose owner has sadly been hospitalised with dementia and could no longer care for the dog she had loved for 12 years.
These situations are always heartbreaking because it’s through absolutely no fault of either the owner or the dog. But because of you, so many kind people contacted us — and we are so happy to say that Ela has found a wonderful new home with a lady who recently lost her own Labrador and didn’t want a younger dog.
Every jigsaw piece has its place, and Ela has truly found hers . The best part?
She never even had to come into the refuge… she went straight from one loving home to another. Perfect.
