Some of you may remember Polvito, the grey Pitbull-Staffie who was brought to us in the summer,dumped, dehydrated, and in desperate need of help.
He was cared for by the kind person who found him, but unfortunately, she wasn’t able to commit to him long term.
After a recent vet visit, Polvito received some sad news. He has a neurological disease that affects his balance, and while the vets can’t say for sure, his time could be as short as a week or as long as a year, it’s simply unknown.
Finding homes for dogs like Polvito is difficult even in the best of circumstances, and with his health issues, the challenge is even greater. Thankfully, our President Mark has opened his heart and home to him.
Polvito will now spend the rest of his life surrounded by love and care, exactly what he deserves.
