Welcome to the web where love leaves paw prints
What is Live PAWS?
Live PAWS is a passionate non-profit animal protection association based in the south of Tenerife. Our commitment is to provide a safe and loving haven for homeless dogs on the island. If you care about animal welfare and are looking for a meaningful way to make a difference, you've come to the right place. We work hard to rescue abandoned dogs and provide them with the care they need.

Live in the UK and fallen for one of our dogs? Distance doesn't have to stop you. We work with Dave Moore of Overland Pet Freight Ltd, a licensed pet transport firm, to get adopted dogs safely from Tenerife to their new homes in the UK.
Dogs travel door to door by road, and are fed, watered and walked every four hours on the way. Ask us about it when you apply to adopt.

Get to know us and join our mission
At Live PAWS, we believe that all dogs deserve a safe and loving home. Our story began with a vision to create a shelter for homeless dogs and has grown thanks to the generosity of volunteers and supporters like you.
Every time you support us - whether through donations, volunteering, fostering, or simply spreading the word - you're directly contributing to the welfare of homeless dogs in Tenerife and helping create a more hopeful future for them.

We are in Tenerife. Our dog shelter, located near Parque de la Reina, is a place where our animals find a temporary home during their stay with us.

Every month, MHT donates €400 to Live PAWS — enough to help keep our dogs fed, vetted, and cared for while they wait for their forever homes. Thank you, MHT, and thank you to every business that stands with our dogs.
