When we say Live PAWS is a family we mean it. And at the heart of that family stands our matriarch, our human Queen, Anita.
It is with the saddest yet most grateful heart that we now send Anita on to her own forever home in mainland Spain, to be closer to her family. Anita has been an irreplaceable part of Live PAWS for many years .
In all that time, there isn’t a single dog whose story she doesn’t know. Not because it’s written down or stored on a computer, but because it’s held in her heart.
And what a heart it is pure gold. Every single dog that has passed through Live PAWS is tucked safely inside it.
Anita has cried tears of pure joy when a dog finds its forever home and tears of deep sorrow when one crosses the rainbow bridge. She is always the first to arrive and the last to leave on dog walking days, greeting everyone with warmth and gratitude that they, too, care for our dogs.
Thank you Anita, for your love, your compassion, and your endless dedication. Enjoy your well-earned retirement.
