Celine and Mark were there to see them off, and it was a bittersweet moment for all of us. We’re going to miss them both more than words can say.

Atigrado and Thor, you’ve both been adopted to Norway, and today, I watched your plane take off from the runway. I stood there with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes knowing this was goodbye,but the best kind.
You’ve known the comfort and care of a loving shelter for so long, but still, it was just a stop on the way to something more. You never stopped hoping. And today, that hope finally carried you into the sky.
There’s a whole new life waiting for you now; one filled with soft beds, long walks, snowy fields, and people who already love you more than words can say. No more waiting behind gates. No more watching others leave before you. This time, it’s your turn.
I’m so proud of you both. You made it. You held on. And now, you get the life you’ve always deserved.
