Charlie

Charlie first came to the refuge in 2024 after being found wandering the streets and brought into our care. Recently, Charlie had the wonderful opportunity to spend six months in foster, where he was able to experience life in a home environment.

Sadly, due to a change in circumstances for his foster carers, Charlie has now had to return to the refuge. We are hoping to find Charlie a foster home or, even better, his forever home.

Charlie is a lovely, older German Shepherd who really shouldn’t be spending his days in a refuge. He is a very loving and friendly boy who has so much affection to give.

He gets on well with other dogs, although he can be selective, so careful and sensible introductions are important. Charlie has so much more to offer and deserves the chance to spend his later years in a loving home, rather than behind kennel doors.

If you think you could offer Charlie a foster or forever home, please get in touch. Our dedicated foster team is here to support and guide you through the whole process, so you won’t be on your own.
