Diego came to us with 4 others, he was found wandering in the mountains. He is not a wild dog, we feel he has probably been abandoned.

Although a little scared when he came to the refuge, he soon settled. Diego is the most confident of the group. A very handsome young man who is now happier around people and other dogs. He is on the smaller side of medium, he will need a little time to realise that he can trust you.

He will however bark at the kennel gate and then shy away, this is not who he really is. His true character shines when he settles out of the kennel environment.
