Emily has quite a story to tell. Emily arrived at the refuge with her daughter, Indy, after they were found wandering the streets together. Thankfully, they were brought into our care, where they were safe, warm and looked after.Indy has now found her forever home, and Emily is still waiting patiently for her turn. But Emily had a very unexpected surprise waiting for us.
One morning, the kennel staff arrived and discovered that Emily had given birth to a tiny puppy. We had absolutely no idea she was pregnant, and after almost a month at the refuge, she surprised us all by introducing us to her beautiful little baby. Her puppy, Hope, has now found a forever home too, leaving Emily waiting for someone to choose her.
Emily is a wonderfully friendly girl with such a lovely, gentle nature. At nearly ten years old, she needs a quiet, stable and loving home where she can finally feel safe, settled and truly cherished. Emily does get along with some dogs, so if she were to live with another dog, a good introduction would be needed to make sure they are a good match.
Emily does have a few health issues, so her future family will need to understand her needs and be willing to give her the care and attention she deserves. A foster home could also be an option for Emily, which can be discussed.After everything Emily has been through, we would love nothing more than to see her spending her golden years surrounded by love, kindness and security. She has been an amazing mum, a gentle soul and an incredibly special girl. Now she just needs someone to give her the forever home she has been waiting for.
