IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE HELP US KEEP OUR PUPPIES SAFE . We are currently in parvovirus and canine coronavirus season.
We have no current cases at the moment and we need it to stay that way so we need everyone visiting or volunteering at the refuge to take extra care. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE CAGES OR KENNELS OF ANY OF OUR PUPPIES.
Young puppies are particularly vulnerable to these viruses. They can spread extremely quickly and can be carried from one area to another on shoes, clothing, hands and other surfaces.
Sadly, these illnesses can become very serious very quickly and can be fatal, especially for young or vulnerable puppies. Even if a puppy looks happy and healthy, we need to take every possible precaution to protect them and prevent viruses from spreading around the refuge.
Please admire our puppies from outside their kennels. Do not enter their cages unless you are specifically authorised to do so.
Please follow all hygiene and safety instructions given by our refuge team. We know how tempting it is to go in and give them cuddles, but right now the best way to show them your love is to help us keep them safe.
Thank you to all of our volunteers and visitors for understanding, cooperating and helping us protect every little life in our care. PLEASE SHARE so that everyone visiting the refuge is aware.
