Meet Keeva – A Special Pup in Urgent Need Keeva is an 18-month-old German Shepherd with a huge heart , literally. Sadly, her heart hasn’t grown normally, and the enlargement is now pressing on her lungs, making it difficult for her to breathe and causing fluid to build up.
Despite it all, Keeva is everything a puppy should be curious, playful, and full of love. But her condition means she has to be carefully monitored and kept calm, which is why her carer, Mark, has taken her home to look after her full-time.
Keeva needs urgent, life saving heart surgery. Without it, she has just four months to live.
The surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, 16th July in Gran Canaria with one of Europe’s top specialists.
