Beautiful Kira arrived at the refuge in August 2025 after being rescued by a kind couple who knew she deserved a better life. After a taste of home life, she sadly returned to the refuge through no fault of her own — but her story wasn’t over.
Thanks to a special photo shared by a volunteer, Kira’s story reached the right hearts and our wonderful German counterparts helped make her dream come true. Today, Kira flew to Germany and safely met her forever family.
