Mauri and Johanna recently went to rescue this lovely mumma and her litter of six puppies. They had to climb down into a barranco where the family was living alongside a mountain community near La Tajita who called us for help.Mum, Mika, is a beautiful soul and a very devoted, efficient mum. The puppies — three boys and three girls — are only around six weeks old, but they’re already quite big, so we think Dad may have been a Presa. They have absolutely stunning markings and very gentle temperaments.Raised in the right home with guidance, patience, and lots of love, these puppies are going to make wonderful companions.Our team has already dewormed and deflead them, and they are now waiting for their first vaccinations.When the time is right, they will be available for adoption through Jade at the refuge.Please note: No reservations will be taken. Anyone interested in adopting will need to come and meet the puppies and us in person. We look forward to finding the perfect forever homes for these gorgeous pups.
