Mika was rescued from a barranco by the team and came into the refuge alongside her six puppies. Her puppies have now all been adopted, and finally, it’s Mika’s turn to find her forever home.
Mika is a very sweet, friendly and affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. She is young, energetic and eager to learn, making her a lovely companion for someone who is ready to continue helping her grow and discover the world.
She walks well on the lead and enjoys being by your side. Mika is a girl who likes company and would much rather be with you than on her own.
The kennel staff have noticed that Mika can sometimes be reactive towards certain dogs, so she will need patient introductions and a home where her needs can be understood and respected. That said, she currently shares her kennel very nicely with Ragnar, showing that she can happily coexist with the right canine companion.
