Neymar was rescued from a government shelter after it became overcrowded. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about his previous history, but what we do know is that he is a lovely, happy dog who really enjoys human company.
At around 8 years old, Neymar is still full of fun and has a great character. He is a friendly boy who enjoys being around people and is always happy to see you.
Neymar is currently being treated for filaria (heartworm). During his veterinary check, an X-ray also showed osteoarthritis in his spine, which doesn’t seem to be affecting him at the moment.
Neymar walks nicely on the lead and enjoys getting out of his kennel environment. He has not yet been formally tested with other dogs, but he is not reactive towards dogs he sees while out or in the kennel environment.
Neymar would make a lovely companion for someone looking for a friendly, affectionate older dog. He has a great nature and would really benefit from a home where he can receive plenty of love, attention and companionship.
