Some of you will remember Polvito, the beautiful grey Pitbull-Staffie who was brought to us last summer, dumped, dehydrated, and desperately needing help. After everything he had been through, Polvito finally found safety, warmth, and kindness.
When he was later diagnosed with a neurological disease affecting his balance, we knew his time with us might be uncertain. Whether it was going to be weeks or months, what mattered most was that he would never feel abandoned again.
This morning, Polvito sadly passed over the rainbow bridge, with Mark by his side. In his final chapter, Polvito knew love.
He knew comfort. He knew he was wanted.
And he left this world safe, cared for, and surrounded by the compassion he always deserved. Run free, sweet boy.
