After almost a year of waiting, our handsome boy Rocky has finally found his forever home. Rocky came into our care last August after his previous family made the difficult decision to leave the island and were unable to take him with them.
Through no fault of his own, he found himself starting over and waiting patiently for someone to give him the second chance he deserved. Day after day, Rocky greeted volunteers with a wagging tail, enjoyed his walks, and never stopped hoping that one day it would be his turn.
This week that day has finally arrived. Rocky has left the refuge with his new family, and we couldn’t be happier for him.
While we’ll miss seeing his lovely face every day, nothing compares to knowing he’ll now have a sofa to curl up on, people to love him, and a place to truly call home. Thank you to everyone who walked him, cared for him, shared his posts, and believed his perfect family was out there.
Every share, every cuddle, and every kind word helped him on his journey. Have the most amazing life, Rocky.
