Today, I cleaned up, disinfected, and donated a variety of items I found in the ocean to my local animal shelter Live PAWS Rescued Animals Tenerife located in San Eugenio just by La Pinta beach in Costa Adeje.
In amongst the items were a variety of sunglasses, snorkelling masks, children’s bucket and spades, and toys.
Live PAWS do amazing work for homeless dogs and cats in Tenerife, providing them with food, shelter, and care while they find their forever homes.
They are always grateful for towels, books, clothes, and anything else you can spare.
You can even sponsor an animal which would make a lovely Christmas present to someone, and it would make a huge difference to a shelter animal. Their web address is www.livepaws.net to sign up.
Moving forward into 2025, any items of value I find while diving for ocean trash will be posted on my page as well as on Lost and Found Tenerife but any items not claimed within 14 days will be taken to Live Arico charity shop so if you’re in the area, pop in and grab yourself a bargain!
