Tizón Settles into His New Foster Home

Tizón Settles into His New Foster HomeTizón is settling in beautifully with his new foster carer, Crista. Having clearly remembered the house, he wasted no time in making himself comfortable and jumping straight onto the sofa!

It is wonderful to see these two building such a lovely bond. Due to his heart condition, Tizón is enjoying life in foster care, where he can benefit from the comfort, security and affection of a loving home.

LIVE PAWS continues to cover his veterinary expenses, ensuring that he receives the ongoing care he needs. Our support extends beyond veterinary treatment.

While Crista and her family settle into their new routine, our dedicated foster team is helping to walk Tizón on Thursdays and Fridays, providing continuity in his care and ensuring his needs are met. Our foster volunteers play an invaluable role in supporting the dogs in our care beyond the refuge.

They assist with daily routines, provide additional care and reassurance, and support foster families as they adjust to welcoming a rescue dog into their homes. Their contribution also helps ease the demands on our President, Mark, allowing him to focus on other important aspects of managing the refuge.

We are incredibly grateful to Crista and our wonderful foster team for working together to give Tizón the opportunity to enjoy the comfort, companionship and care he deserves. Their kindness and commitment demonstrate the importance of our foster network in improving the lives of the animals who depend on us.

At Live PAWS, every act of kindness makes a difference, and Tizón's story is a lovely example of what can be achieved when people work together for the welfare of animals.
