Orion was only with us a short while before kennel stress began to take a heartbreaking toll. Thanks to our volunteers who paid, we were able to place him in a private dog lodge and soon, we found him the perfect finca life with a new friend, Nano.
But tragedy has struck. The kind-hearted person who gave them that home is now seriously unwell and hospitalised, and these two beautiful boys are in urgent need of a safe place to go.
Orion is 8 years old – a gentle, shy soul who blossoms once he feels safe. Nano, just 3, has helped bring Orion out of his shell and keeps him playful and young.
They’re a bonded pair, and we would love to keep them together. We are desperate to avoid bringing Orion back to the refuge.
It’s simply not a place he can cope with again. If you or someone you know has a bit of land, a loving home, and space in your heart, please consider fostering or adopting these wonderful boys.
