Whisky’s Journey to His Forever Home

Some adoptions simply feel meant to be, and Whisky’s story is one of those. A lovely family came to visit us after discovering our work on TikTok. The family included Mum and Dad, their two children, and Mum’s brother.

They already had two dogs at home, but the moment they met Whisky, something very special happened. They immediately fell in love with him, and the feeling was clearly mutual.They spent time getting to know him properly — walking with him, playing together on the patio, and taking him along to Mascots.

Before they left, they even bought him a completely new outfit. It was evident that Whisky had already found a very special place in their hearts. The arrangements were then made for his journey to his new home: the reservation, payment, paperwork and flight were all organised, and on 15 September Whisky travelled with Mark to Eindhoven on a Transavia flight.

His new family made an extraordinary journey themselves, driving all the way from the New Forest in England to collect him. Whiskey behaved beautifully throughout and was, as always, the sweetest of boys.

Once home, the family took things slowly, allowing Whisky the time and space he needed to settle into his new surroundings. After such a big journey, he was naturally tired, but he was also clearly content. He is already following his new mum wherever she goes, a lovely indication of the bond that is developing between them.

Everyone is delighted with how beautifully things are going, and we could not be happier to see Whisky beginning this wonderful new chapter of his life with a family who clearly adore him.We wish Whisky and his family many happy years together.
